This "remote" event was held amid the pandemic.  The online event read:

New and old lovers, near and far...even though times are challenging right now, we want to be a part of spreading love on this special day by presenting our first "State Lunch Sweetheart Dinner."   With this dinner for two, you will also receive a single long-stemmed rose, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and have the option of adding sangria to your meal for an additional $50. This event also includes a virtual performance by Maine-based singer/songwriter Pete Kilpatrick.

ABOUT THE MEAL:
For $150 you get a meal for two consisting of Caramelized Fennel and Pancetta Salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette, “Marry Me” Chicken (cream, sun dried tomatoes, red chili flakes), Mustard Crusted Lamb Chops (dijon and whole grain mustard, breadcrumbs), Baked Parmesan Zucchini Sticks, Wilted Swiss Chard, Roasted Root Vegetables, French Potato Dauphinois Gratin, and Chocolate Covered Strawberries four ways. You will also have the opportunity to add on (in the ticket section for $50) the State Lunch Sangria. It includes a 32oz State Lunch homemade sangria mix with a bottle of champagne. It serves roughly 6-8 drinks!

WHERE/WHEN DO I PICK UP MY MEAL?:
Meals must be picked up on Sunday, February 14th between 10am-2pm at State Lunch (217 Water Street, Augusta).

ABOUT THE PERFORMER:
After completing high school, Pete Kilpatrick took a few years off before attending college to focus his energy on a full-time career as a musician. He wrote and recorded his first album, Half Way Home, back in 2003. Between networking and a near constant performing schedule throughout New England he began to develop a loyal following that would continue to grow over the years. The next ten years in Pete’s career saw the successful release of six additional albums (totaling over 40,000 albums sold), a brief record deal with Epic Records and over 1,000 live performances, with shows alongside Dave Matthews Band, Ray Lamontagne, Guster, Barenaked Ladies, Jason Mraz and many others.

EVENT SPONSORS:
O&P Glass, Kennebec Savings Bank, KRW Projects, WIPFLI, Sprague & Curtis, J.S. McCarthy Printers
